Hi,

because of multiple threads regarding this problem, I decided to make a sticky for it.

Follow these instructions to avoid annoying AD Messages from Windows "Messenger Service".

1. Open Computer Management (See Administrative Tools)
2. Expand Services and Applications
3. Click on Services
4. Scroll down until you see the "Messenger" Service.
5. Right Click it and select Properties.
6. Set its "Startup Type" to Manual and close the properties window by clicking OK.
7. Stop the "Messenger" Service.
