I want to permanently remove games solitaire, minesweeper, freecell, etc. I have removed them from Control Panel > Add Remove Programs but they still can be run from Windows\system32 folder by just typing the name of exe from start>run. If i delete the exe file then it automatically appears again.
I never want to play them again.
I want to permanently delete them. I have already wasted thousands of hours.

Hi,

all exe files are also saved in the dll cache. So you will need to delete the games in the dll cache first. Then in the system32 folder.

Under WindowsXP, the DLL Cache usually is under windows\system32\dllcache
