I have tried installing avast! and I did a system restore and a reformat. I still get the following error:

Only part of a readprocessmemory or writeprocessmemory request was completed

I am running windows x64 and I can't install any programs. I need help!! Should I just sell x64 and buy Windows XP Pro??
