Hello, we've installed event reporter on several of our domain controllers and it appears I'm having a license issue. We initially installed monitorware on 2 of the DC's to test the product and after purchasing eventreporter these two are having the problem. All the other machines we have it loaded on work fine with the same license key. However when I try to start eventreporter on these 2 DC's I receive an error 114

MonitorWare Agent trial expired. The Agent is now disabled. Please visit http://www.mwagent.com/en/ to purchase the product. There is no need to reinstall the product after purchasing. You just need to enter the registration key. Your configuration will remain intact.

I've uninstalled monitorware to no avail and from what I've seen the registry settings are identical to a working server. Is there a rogue registry setting or file system object that is causing me problems?

I've enabled logging, here are the relevant lines

"MonitorWare Agent trial" is an error in the message, it should say EventReporter. This will be fixed in the next EventReporter update.

However the issue is not related to your prior MWAgent installation.
Usually such error's are caused by misspelled licensenames, or a key for the wrong version.

Please send a full debug log including your settings as registry file (See client menu) to support@adiscon.com. Your case will be handeled there then.

ok, I didn't realize our 6.0 license key wouldn't work with 7.0. I thought our key would take our upgrade insurence into account. I've emailed sales for a new key, thank you.

Ok then this was the problem
If you send the upgrade insurance ID to our sales team, you will get a new key on the same day usually.
