Hi,
I have installed the winsyslog in one of our customer to troubleshot a specific problem. The and now I have a 600 MB log file that I can't open in WinXP with apps like notepad, dos edit, wordpad, word 2003...
How can I open and read the 600 MB large log file?

You can open and read such files with UltraEdit: http://www.ultraedit.com
In UltraEdit General options, enable "Open file without temp file" option.
