Hello,

I'm trying to use monilog with Kiwi Syslog- and I get this error when trying to generate a report:

Errorcode:9 Description: subscript out of range


Any help would be appreciated.

error code 9 occurs when the format does not match what MoniLog expects. Please make sure that the format specified in MoniLog and Kiwi do exactly match. We unfortunately do not have specific configuration instructions for Kiwi - but you may want to try it together with WinSyslog http://www.winsyslog.com. There are detailled instructions for this available (see the step-by-step guides section in the manual).

I generated a nice 80meg database with monitorware trial. When I send monilog to analyze it, there is the same error 9, subscript out of range. I hope this is due to a triaware limitation?

Hi,

this error code 9 occurs only if Monilog has problems analyzing the logformat as Rainer mentioned before.

I simply question, when you configured the Eventlgo monitor within MonitorWare Agent, did you use the "Configure for Monilog" button?
