Found another problem with the current install.

One of my machines is running v1172 - running the new mwcon.exe doesn't update this to v1374. Tried the repair and update, both leave the exe as is.

Removing Console with mwcon.exe also doesn't remove the installation files.

I've had to remove the c:\program files\monitorware\console directory, and run the installation again to fix the problem.

So the new setup did not update the MWCon.exe?

I will test this on a testmachine here.

strange but true- it didn't update the mwconsole.exe

made sure I wasn't running the console at the time either.

I don't have the old console anymore, so I can't test this again, sorry.

Ok, then I would say we ignore this case. The first beta setup file had some bugs, but it should not be out there anymore
