maybe a silly question, but is "Autoclose" of the Pop3 Window enabled?
The solution of waiting for the pop server does not seem to work.
I am attaching two screen captures, showing the messages I am getting. Note
in the first one (NewsMergecap1.jpg) that the word"finished" apprears. This
stayed several minutes until I executed Mail check again, whereupon it was
replaced by the second screen. The second screen remained until I exited the
program several minutes later.
