Hi - I am attempting to send CSV / Text files (using AttachFile() ) via Simple mail version 3.1.120 in a VB6 DLL and am continually receiving the following error when issuing SendEx()....

LastStatus: 354
Message: Start mail input; end with <CRLF>.<CRLF>

Binary attachments appear to be transferred with no problems - whereas text ones fail.

Anybody experienced this before?

Hi,

there was a MIME bug in that version which could cause problems when using attachments on some mail servers.

Please go to http://www.simplemail.adiscon.com/en/Download/ and download SimpleMail 3.1 SP3 (Which is Build 3.1.123) , it should solve your problem (and save your hairs )
