Just switched console to a mysql db and when a event view is selected we get the following:

MWConsole: Specified cast in not valid.

System.InvalidCastException: Specified cast in not valid at Adison.MonitorWare.Console.EventViewForm.getNodeCount(String query).

The view works and the data is populated but the error pops up anytime a selection is made.

Version is 2.0.1577.21142

In which view you are getting this exception? We have tested this with mysql 3.23.58 and no exception is thrown. Which version of mysql are you using? I will be waiting for your reply.

I am going to send you an updated build from the ticketing system where you posted the same message. This might solve your problem. You can give it a try.

I receive the error in ALL event views. Note that I do get the first page of results after the errror...

I finally found the file you were referring to. I unzipped the executable and placed it in the Console directory.

The version is now 2.1.1788.25209 and I am still having the same problem. More details on the sequence of events:

- I open up console
- in the left "tree view" I select any Event View
- I get a popup with the error message (detailed in the original post)
- I close the popup
- I get a seoncd popup with the same error message
- I close the popup
- the display is populated with one page of data
- the page counter states: "page 1 of 0"

Please let me know if you need anymore information or screenshots.

Would it be possible for you to post a link to the executable here?

After initially having no problems I can no longer access your ticket system - I get the initial page fine but when I click on the open ticket to get the detail I receive a "The page cannot be displayed" error. I noticed this error yesterday, before that I didn't have any problems accessing the site.

The problem seems to be on my end but I was able to get the update via an alternate connection.

The version of Console is now 2.1.1789.29951 and everything seems to work!!!
