we are getting this events in eventslog on a windows server with event reporter 6.4 , has any one seen this kind of event before

The Description for Event ID [150] in Source [ adiscon EventLog] cannot be found . The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from remote computer. you may be able to use the / AUXSOURCE = flag to retrieve this description; the following information is part of event : the Eventslog 'Security' is damaged at 53607235 with error code 6 , no action a can be done.

Hi,

your Security Eventlog seems to be damaged, I would suggest that you manually delete it to solve this issue.

Additional, the EventReporter Eventsource itself does not seem to be registered correctly. You can manually correct this by opening the command prompt, changing to the EventReporter directory and entering the following commands:

1. evntslog.exe -u
1. evntslog.exe -i

Make sure the EventReporter Client and Services Management Consoles are not running when you do this.
